A course on “Procedure for Disbursement of Pension to the Defence Pensioners” for the bank officials from the states of Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand was organized from 9th to 11th September, 2008. The same course was organized for bank officials of Bihar/Jharkhand including the officials at Indian Embassy, Nepal from 12th August, 2008 to 14th August, 2008. The venue for the courses was at Defence Pension Training Institute, (DPTI), Allahabad. This was the first time that participants from a foreign country attended training in DPTI. Six participants from various pension paying offices in Nepal participated in the course. The training course was highly appreciated by all the participants.
